We're currently seeking a Sales Engineer with an entrepreneurial mindset, extensive industry knowledge, and strong relationships with food manufacturers in the Greater Toronto Area.

The Sales Engineer will play a vital role in ambitious growth plans, responsible for driving sales by building and maintaining relationships with food manufacturer head offices.

This role combines technical knowledge, sales skills, and strategic thinking, offering an exceptional opportunity for those passionate about driving growth in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and generate new business opportunities within the food manufacturing sector, focusing on increasing sales and market share in the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Relationship Management: Utilize existing relationships with food manufacturer head offices, building and maintaining robust partnerships to ensure business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Solution Selling: Understand the technical complexities of our packaging solutions and articulate their value proposition to potential clients, catering to their unique needs and challenges.
  • Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends and market conditions, using these insights to strategize and execute effective sales plans.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product, marketing, and engineering, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer experience.

Skills and qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields
  • Proven track record as a sales engineer or a similar role within the food manufacturing sector
  • Strong networks and relationships with food manufacturer head offices in the Greater Toronto Area
  • Exceptional technical understanding, able to explain and demonstrate the functionalities and benefits of our packaging solutions
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on customer needs and business growth
