Our client who is a leading CPG manufacturer located in the GTA has partnered with Hubble Talent - looking to add a Supply Planning Analyst to their highly motivated team. Requirements:

 

  • Plans inventory to determine appropriate levels, may be necessary to take corrective action when inventory position is long or short.
  • Creation of weekly/daily production schedules for use by Operations.
  • Creation and maintenance of Purchase Orders for Finished Good co-packers.
  • Responsible for analysis of seasonal inventory builds by examining the manufacturing capacity and understanding customer needs. Includes translation of yearly sales volume budget into manufacturing production volume budget.
  • Responsible for analysis on SKU rationalization by examining portfolios to make recommendations for the removal of items based on profitability, OCD sales and fill rate to the customer.
  • Assists sales, marketing, and supply chain managers to mitigate risks around undesired long/short inventory positions by looking at the disposal of long inventory into the most appropriate channels and providing information on length of inventory shortages and root causes.
  • Assists with new product launches to ensure product is viable from an inventory management perspective.
  • Responsible for company service levels by analyzing root causes of shortages for future prevention.
  • Coordinates forecasted production plan input from planners to assist in national replenishment of finished goods inventory across 3rd party distribution centres.
  • Other duties as assigned may include S&OP (Sales and Operations) supply chain improvements
