Job description :

Do you bring 2-3 years’ experience working for a CPG manufacturer where you have provided detailed planning by leading a collaborative customer level forecasting process for key internal and external customers?

Then we at Hubble have an amazing opportunity for a Demand Planning Analyst – as part of a dynamic and collaborative team with our client who is a leading manufacturer of consumer products found in the fresh and dry aisles at Walmart, LCL and Costco.  Reporting directly to the National Demand Planning Manager, this individual will work out of their Toronto corporate office.

Overview:

  • Use tools, statistical models, and analytics to work with Sales team to develop an item/customer level weekly forecast separated into base/lift.
  • Leads consensus meetings with both internal key account managers and select customers to analyze past forecast performance and look for upcoming changes required (listings/de-listings, promotions etc.).
  • Monitors and integrates market trends, customer POS etc. into statistical forecast.
  • Maintain, publish, and action key forecast quality metrics (Accuracy, Bias etc.).
  • Drive feature post game analysis to improve future feature forecast quality.
  • Work with Sales / Supply Planning / Customer Service in times if short supply to ensure forecast is reflective of limitations.
  • Work with Finance team to provide the volumes for annual budget process and various latest estimates through the year.
  • Maintain and issue forecast volume book each week with supporting commentary on key changes vs. prior week.

 

Skills and qualifications :

  • One who is a highly motivated individual and is interested in an entrepreneurial environment – rolling their sleeves, jumping in and making a difference.
  • Very proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint and most importantly SAP.
  • 2-3 years’ of detailed analysis (supply chain, demand planning) experience preferred in a FMCG environment.
  • Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships.
  • University graduate.
